Lower Angle and the Hexagon Pool – Photo: Yohai Korem
Distance from Bai Gali: 36 minutes
The route in the lower part of Nahal Zavitan, which starts at Ramat Yehudia, descends to the stream that got its name thanks to its many windings, passes between pools, springs and waterfalls, and ends in the magical hexagonal pool, in which a dip on a hot day is an incomparable pleasure
Below are two recommended options for the trip:
A linear (not circular) route: it starts at the Yehudia parking lot and ends at the hexagon pool next to the settlement of Had Ness. In this case, two vehicles are required (or rely on hitchhiking – so it’s better to leave the vehicle at the end of the route and catch a hitchhiking to the beginning) The hiking route in the lower part of the Zavitan stream that continues to the Hexes Pool is the best way to go and last 6-7 hours. Two circular routes: the first is in the lower HaZavitan Nahal, and it starts and ends at the Yehudia parking lot. The second route is in the hexagon pool, and it starts and ends in the hexagon pool parking lot. The level of difficulty is the same as that of the previous route (the entrance to the parking lots and the route is paid.
