A national heritage site of Ein Keshetot landmarks, with a Jewish village from the Mishna and Talmudic periods and a magnificent synagogue at its heart. The ancient village sits above Nahal Samach and overlooks the Sea of Galilee and the Galilee mountains. By visiting the site you will be able to get an impression of the synagogue with the Ark of the Covenant which is the best preserved and most magnificent discovered in the country to date. The synagogue was excavated and restored using advanced technological methods, at the end of which it rises to its full first floor. The Ein Keshtot site offers a visit to a spring that flows into ancient pools and shady corners. The visit experience includes a movie and a walking tour.
The descent to the route is not accessible to strollers and it is recommended to have a baby carrier.
